Who We Are

Diana M. Concannon, PsyD, PCI, CTM
Diana Concannon, Principal, CPW Consulting Group is a forensic psychologist with more than two decades experience providing threat management and crisis intervention services in myriad contexts. She conducts workplace violence investigations, assists agencies, corporations, and educational institutions to establish threat assessment teams and workplace violence prevention programs, and administers psychological evaluations, including fitness-for-duty and violence risk assessments. Dr. Concannon is licensed as a psychologist in California, New York, Washington DC, and Utah. She is an ASIS Professional Certified Investigator, and a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professions, International Association of Crime Analysts, and American Psychological Association, among others.
She is author of Kidnapping: An Investigator’s Guide, and Neurocriminology: Forensic and Legal Applications, Public Policy Implications, and is frequently interviewed on topics related to mental health, domestic violence extremism, and conflict resolution. She is Dean of the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University, where she also serves as Associate Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. Dr. Concannon is a principal owner of CPW Consulting Group, Inc., and Specialized Training Services, Inc.

Lissa H. Parker, PhD
Lissa Parker, Principal, CPW Consulting Group is an investigative psychologist who consults with law enforcement and community members to support the prevention and investigation of intimate partner, workplace and school violence. She is a subject matter expert in threat assessment and management, as well as investigative and criminal psychology, and also aids institutions and corporations to develop and evaluate their safety and security strategies and programs.
In addition to her work with CPW, Dr. Parker is a full-time lecturer with CSU, Fresno and Director of the Master of Science, Forensic Behavioral Sciences program at the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University. She also serves as co-director of the Violence & Safety Institute and heads the Institute’s Targeted Attacks Research Project. She is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, the International Association of Crime Analysis, ASIS, IACP, and the International Association of Forensic Criminologists.
